kisukin Posted February 11, 2021 Share Posted February 11, 2021 I don´t know , im not a specialist , but considering the vacuum in game do not offer resistance and not have gases , meteors/comets could hit the surface with the same temperature of the materials (a ice block for example). Sasza22 Posted February 11, 2021 Share Posted February 11, 2021 The impact iself would still create some heat. Pobably not as much as we experienced in the base game but still quite a bit. I wish that heat could radiate away though. Regolith should be basically space dust. I wish we would get comets flying around periodically that dropped a pile of cool regoilth on each surface tile once every 10 or so cycles. I was always paranoid about copyright laws so i always made profile images myself. This one is from an old drawing i made years ago. I thought it looked nice.
