Payens Posted December 17, 2020 Share Posted December 17, 2020 Hello Everyone, I am trying to figure out how to do this. I am using Steam and the DST server tool. I can get the server up and going I can get admin access with my main account but I want to give it to a couple of other people. I have found the posts and wiki articles saying to go to Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether/Save then create a adminlist.txt document and add in the KU number. I got the KU number, but I could not find that file path under the DoNotStarveTogether was just the folder Cluster_1. So I created a Save folder and at that path and put in the persons KU number that did not work. I then went into the Cluster_1 folder and the the Master Folder where I found a save folder and tried putting the file in there and in the same path for the caves. \Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogetherDedicated\Cluster_1\Caves\save \Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogetherDedicated\Cluster_1\Master\save That did not work either. Can anyone point me as to what I am doing wrong? Daniel86268 Posted December 17, 2020 Share Posted December 17, 2020 The locations seem to be correct. It's been a while since I did that, so the path might've changed. In the past I had similar issues, and what worked in the end for me was to ban the player that I wanted to give admin permissions to and afterwards take the line that was added in the blocklist.txt file in the same directory and move it over to the adminlist.txt. (That line is rather cryptic, and fiddling it together by hand can go wrong if you miss a space or use a wrong letter somewhere, so letting the game generate it is the safest approach.) myxal Posted December 17, 2020 Share Posted December 17, 2020 Nope, the paths are wrong. In fact, there shouldn't be multiple paths (when dealing with just 1 cluster) in the first place. Bans/admins are not shard-specific, but cluster-specific.
