Ravien
Anyone had this strange behavior ? My scrubbers started to produce oxygen and choked itself
JRup
I've had this happen before so there's no big issue. Let me elaborate. Seen in the picture: there's also oxygen in the surroundings. Oxygen is pretty much "randomly heading" towards the location of the scrubbers. The scrubbers aren't generating O2 it's just pooling around them. The scrubbers are still working: the "hollow" spaces/tiles near the scrubbers and in between the CO2 and oxygen are vacuums generated by the scrubber when CO2 comes into contact with their working range. Hope this helps.
Ravien
I've got over 750 hours of ONI and never had this kind of glitch

Happens just like @JRup explained, and more often if you have a low pressure environment.
misotoma
I have almost 2000 hours lol and honestly I’ve never paid attention to that. It’s interesting that happens. Maybe let all the carbon dioxide pool on top of it.. it’s weird though I’ve never noticed my carbon skimmer choked like that.. my new method of clearing carbon dioxide is gas pump with automation and sensors. It’s easier.

The skimmer in this picture hasn't choked yet. It's still murdering the CO2 in the environment, it's just that there is some oxygen around it. As long as there is at least a tile of CO2 in the coverage area it will continue to relentlessly absorb its victim gas. The center of its range is on the glass sphere in the skimmer's drawing.
