He had never been outside of the swamp as it was considered forbidden. One day, a human came to the swamp and was collecting some tentacles. Wes was curious, he had never seen such a creature. The man had hair like the horns of Krampus, and skin as white as the Deerclops' fur. Too afraid to approach, Wes remained hidden behind a cluster of thorny trees. Oh how he wished to be like the man. So thin. so intelligent. So full of hair! He would give anything to be like the mystery man.A few days later, Wes was rolling in some swamp goo. Dizzy and confused, he had lost his lost his sense of direction and accidentally fell into a wormhole. Moments later, the wormhole spat Wes out. He looked up to see a tall form. "Hey pal, how was the...trip?" said the tall figure. "Don't be afraid, I know a secret. A secret of yours to be exact. You want to be a human, is that correct? I can change you into one...for a fee."Wes jumped up and looked the tall man in the eyes. "Yes!" He said with excitementThe tall figure grinned, "Just sign here."He signed the paper as best he could. -POOF- the page was gone, vanished in a cloud of smoke. The tall man laughed as he slowly sunk into the ground in front of Wes. He felt strange. His scales began to slowly peel off, one by one, revealing chalky white skin. Both soft and smooth to the touch. Hair had grown afterward. Clothes and a mirror then appeared in front of him along with a note. "Thanks - M."Unsure of what had just happened, he put on the clothes and looked in the mirror. He attempted let out a shout of joy, he could not. He was given his greatest desire, but at what cost...
