I know there is the whole ONI physics thing and materials often behave differently, but CO2 is not flammable. It even extinguishes flames because it displaces oxygen. But burning it isn't even necessary in this case. The engine just looks like a bunch of bottles a with nozzles at the end. So you just say that it expels pressurized CO2 to create thrust.
