It's sad that serious bugs will not be fixed anymore

Thought I would go back to this great game only to meet an old annoying bug whereby you disable a scanner fmt (or whatever they are called) by hacking and getting the tech out of them, but then your agents keep getting their location pinpointed the whole mission anyway. This is certainly not a critical bug, but it's pretty damn serious given how stealth is the name of the game here. I was so bummed out I stopped playing again. Sad :(

Never heard of that before. Are you playing on console? Mods?

EDIT: I've been told to assert the following fact: High-difficulty missions (especially in Endless) can have more than one scanner. Each one can locate an agent independent of other scanners.

It sounds like the "bug" described in this post is caused by having multiple scanning amps in the mission, yes.

That said, many of the known bugs are fixed in the Community Bug Fixes mod, or some other mods including Sim Constructor and Function Library, and there are some quality-of-life fixes in UI Tweaks.
