Average Zombie
Request: Allow a ribbon port on the devices like the cooker or refinery to control up to four recipes based on specific bit rates. Assign the bit number to a recipe (null, 1, 2, 3, 4) to turn specific requests on or off using the ribbon. Example being I have gold set in the refinery to Infinite on bit 3, so Each time the inventory in smart storage gets low, it sends a signal on bit 3 to produce more gold. This could also be used to control the production of tiers of food when a specific tier runs low. Reason: right now logic can’t be applied to recipes on a building, so you have to have specific dedicated buildings which can be large, sprawling, and inefficient for automation. AtlaStar
2 to the 4th is 16, so you can get 0-15 using 4 bits...so why limit the suggestion to 4 options when it could support up to 15? Good idea either way.
gabberworld
same thing i think ed about rocked that why i cant send that different places as automated mode without needed manual toutch note : this could be done also with counter mode, then you not even need use ribbon

But how should you treat input value 7 (0111) to the grill?
