Qol for console

Recommended Posts

I doubt this would happen because it doesnt affect anyone but I feel like it would be cool to have certain things that pc can have at base that would just make the game more enjoyable and just better. Most of these are things that most pc users use that would be nice to have on console

1) Health Marks on mobs. Knowing how much health something has and how much damage you are doing just makes guessing how much a boss may have left better.

2) Grid placement. Just a Qol for building bases.

I forgot other example but yea

I think geometric placement (the grid) should definitely be an option you can enable in the game settings menu rather than being a mod.

idk about health values though...

Anyway - the bigger QOL update would be an overhaul on controls so that you can move while navigating crafting and inventory menues.

Many games, mostly RPGs and RPG Shooters, have health bars to help the player know how much health something has- Ark Survival Evolved shows it becoming visibly more bloody before it finally kicks the bucket.

But for games without Blood they Usually have a visible health bar to tell when something is close to dying. I wouldn’t mind having this- Because then I would know when to move in for a kill on something like Bearger or when to keep kiting it into stuff.

I would love to have several QoL updates, simple stuff that SHOULD be doable but is not at the moment- such as adjusting boss health based on number of players so they’ll be more or less of a threat or being able to swap out ALL Passive Beehives for the Hostile versions (if your crazy like me and actually want that)

The TL:DR- we have a beautiful menu full of things we can toggle on and off... or more or less of and In 2020/2021 I wish that Klei will realize that menu’s full potential.

I have very limited experience with console, but I think it needs something similar to Combined Status going on for it.
Even if you're on PC without the mod, you can still easily check your stats without disrupting the flow of what you're doing.
In order to see what number your stats are at on console, you have to be in the inventory mode thing. Which stops you in your tracks.
