few more recipes to the grill

hey!
it is a real pain, watching your duplicants die, when there is fresh meat laying around !
my dups eat aliens !! and they cannot take a bite at each others ?
that feels wrong and wasted !
as another title of yours suggests: dont starve together !
as in; one doesnt have to starve, when he eats the others.
humans have been doing this and will do this, whenever actual-hunger comes along.
are you bold enough to add cannibalism, in the face of nowadays fragile society ?

For anyone else reading the OP, it's important to remember that dupes are not humans, they do/may not have human morals, and this is a very pragmatic way of thinking regardless.

In modern society, we humans have the luxury of cheap food in an incredible variety, and as a new human takes roughly 18 years to grow to ~maturity~, cannibalism is a very inefficient food source.

For duplicants in an asteroid with limited food supplies and a printing pod that gives a guaranteed full grown duplicant every 3 cycles, they might be overjoyed at the prospect of allowing the colony to continue at the expense of the life of one of their own.

Given a certain scarcity of available food supplies, consuming the flesh of one of their own might even give a positive morale reaction.

i mean... should be delicious !

you know, the price is not even "the life" of one of their own.
if he naturally dies, they dont pay a price for his meat.
it would we waste to just bury or burn it.
