Flip Face
Hi We know how they can weigh servers, taking down several twiggys out there. I wish we could take down two Twiggys axing TwiggyTrees 5 times when it was in the most advanced stage (with a common axe). Thank you for your attention. Flip Face
It would work like the DS HAM Tuber Tree. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/116268-twiggytrees-rework/#findComment-1313890 Share on other sites
Mike23Ua
Hamlet doesn’t exist outside of PC yet so I don’t understand what your referencing. However- I would like for a mob that can’t be interacted with to come along and clean up the world to reduce lag. Such as Beavers or Termites who simply rid your worlds of all the loose wood laying around everywhere. I think being able to keep the lag at a minimum would allow for better performance with the game- and when Klei no longer has to worry about Twiggy Trees bogging the server down, they can add some unique new enemy mobs to the game that require a little more strategy then just putting a football helmet on and beating it repeatedly to death occasionally moving away from its attack. In my head I picture stuff like the forge’s Magma Golems coming out of Fireflies Magma pools and throwing fireballs in your direction. Just you know, new enemy types that require a new strategy to fight, maybe something that is immune to taking damage unless it’s weak spot becomes vulnerable? Not a boss..... a common every day mob. Such as I don’t know.. A hostile savage pig warrior that charges at you with a smashing animation, after he does this a few times and tires himself out missing the only then will the spot in his armored battle suit show weakness briefly while he rests a few seconds. Think- Fat Beefed Up Forge Battle Warrior covered in Armor but when he bends over to catch his breath his plumbers pig-crack shows.. and that would be his weak point attack it before he recovers! Just idk... something like that I guess. But before we can have fun stuff like that we have to address the less fun stuff like the lag that Twiggy Tree clutter causes Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/116268-twiggytrees-rework/#findComment-1313932 Share on other sites

When you start cutting a Tuber Tree with a machete (In that case with the axe) the tree is not cut down, but its branches are. After cutting all branches (Biforcations / Branches of the tree) you can finish taking down the tree. shadowDigga
Alternative suggestion: make player be able to poke lvl 2 and lvl 3 twiggy trees to make them drop twigs. Poking resets growth stage back to lvl 1. At lvl 3 trees stop growing. Advancing growth stages wouldn't drop twigs on its own, players have to poke them. No more twigs everywhere.
