Ranching is fun! Creates lots of design puzzles and lots of cute animations. Awesome!

But as their numbers grow, they take a big hit on FPS due to pathing. If we had some method for getting larger critters, you could have larger scale operations without the performance hit. A 2x critter would consume 2x, excrete 2x, require double grooming time and 2x ranch space, and drop 2x meat. 

Lots of potential approaches, but one idea for this could be a Late game building that requires some rare resource, and converts an adult critter into the egg of a 2x variant (which would then go on to lay more 2x variants).
