Craigjw
I can't seem to get this working anymore, is this still viable?
Chthonicone
Just now, Craigjw said: I can't seem to get this working anymore, is this still viable? IIRC, you have to have a tiny amount of liquid on the gas vent, not below it.
Craigjw
I'll try that, thank you.
StarSquid
I can confirm that it still works. For a while there were large portions of my base that were not getting oxygen and others that were incredibly overpressurized because a vent got wet from melting ice and pumped something like ten kilos of oxygen per tile into the surrounding area before I noticed. KittenIsAGeek
Yes, it still works very well. My technique is to build an airflow tile in a corner and start dumping water (or crude, or whatever) in until it overflows. Mop up the liquid on the floor -- not the airflow tile -- and then build a second airflow tile. You should get something looking like this: Third airflow tile was just for aesthetics.
