Papagordon
Daimler was working alone in the refinery room. It was cold and dark, and he did not like it. He was told that the stable had a better work condition since the employer had installed some light there and it worked. He looked up this room and can see a ceiling light and a motion sensor. He wondered why it was not working. Maybe, he picked a wrong profession. Before dinner time, McAuliffe visited him. Everytime Daimler saw her in this room, a song repeated through his mind:… And you light up my life You give me hope to carry on …All the sudden, he worked faster and was ready to go out to have dinner with McAuliffe.Klei, can you help Daimler? SharraShimada
Your problem is the motion sensor. It has a rage of 3. Yes it looks like the dupe is operating the machine at the left side, but in fact ALL machines are operated at the center in fact. So the motion sensor cant detect the dupe while working. Take a look at the mods, There is one, making motion sensor range adjustable, and it works well. This should solve your problem. If you dont like mods, for any reason possible, you have to rebuild the room, so the sensor is placed above the machine. DemainaNyx
You can place some weight plates under the metal refinery and have them activate the light instead. Or, once you know which tile the dupe stands on while working, then you'll know what tile the motion detector needs to reach to work. I agree though that sometimes the animations while working don't properly indicate where the dupe is which can be frustrating.
