Issue with the game not finding token

So I've been trying to make a dedicated server and I've tried multiple different guides. The latest one I've tried was this one.

However every method I tried gives me the same error. Here is the log

 I have generated the token using the command TheNet:GenerateClusterToken() and the token is indeed a text file extension, and it should be under the correct directory according to the video.

Jokes aside your log indicates that the file itself is found, yet it's not valid. Usually that happens if you copy the content of the token file into your token file on the server, which sometimes doesn't properly copy some invisible symbols n stuff.

Instead try copying the entire file as it is.

I did copy the file, I didn't Copy paste the token itself

Yep, the location is correct, since the server log itself already indicated that it found the key, yet it wasn't valid for whatever reason.
The only other thing that comes to my mind is that your firewall might block the authentication attempt. So try disabling your firewall for a test to see if it actually blocks it. If it works afterwards, reenable your firewall and track the service you have to let through.

Otherwise you might have to tag a dev.

Have you tried with someone else's token? I.e. ask a friend to generate one and try it? If the file is being found and the content is correct but still the token is invalid, perhaps there could be something off with your Steam/Klei account? I don't know if that could really be it, am just trying to think out of the box here.

Not sure if it makes any difference, but do you own the game on Steam or are you playing through Family Sharing? If the answer is the latter, maybe that could be the cause? See if someone else's token works.

I own the game on steam, it's not family shared. I haven't tried someone else's token. I don't have any friends who own this game, but if someone here can generate a token and give it to me I can try.
