Usually that happens if you copy the content of the token file into your token file on the server, which sometimes doesn't properly copy some invisible symbols n stuff. The only other thing that comes to my mind is that your firewall might block the authentication attempt. So try disabling your firewall for a test to see if it actually blocks it. If the file is being found and the content is correct but still the token is invalid, perhaps there could be something off with your Steam/Klei account? I don't know if that could really be it, am just trying to think out of the box here. Not sure if it makes any difference, but do you own the game on Steam or are you playing through Family Sharing?
