Option or tool for breaking pipe/wire connection/s

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Rearrange connections between pipes or wires can be frustrating . When you make a mistake or simply you want to rearrange connections for wires or pipe, you have to deconstruct them and do them again.

It would be nice to have an option to disconnect connections in all directions for one tile of wire or pipe.

Thank you

This would be an awesome addition. However in order to make it balanced, it should be a disconnect chore meaning a dupe will have to do a "deconstruction" task, which instead of deconstructing will just cancel the connections in all directions.

Why not for T or X shaped connection.

Real question is how to handle H connection (two parallel pipes accidentaly connected together), there would be a need to cancel connection on borders of the grid, not all connections in all directions.

We can already connect two adjacent pipes without any duplicant input, that would have to become a chore as well.

what you can do is some kind of cancel tool that highlights an area that removes all connections to the pipes highlighted, then the rest is just to connect the pipes you really wanted to connect.
