how to play wortox by controller?

Is there any way to change the range of wortox's soul hop by controller?

There isn't on console, but PC users may somehow find a way.

After playing with wortox for a while, I can honestly say that yes, we need to be able to adjust the range

Compared to keyboard and mouse, we 

•can't take advantage of the I-frames for bosses, as the best we could do is teleport away, but because range is unadjustable, we go too far, making it slower then just kiting

can't reach far away ledges. Down in the ruins, there are cliffs that could easily, easily be reached via mouse, but with controller, the damned circle wimps out and says it's too far

I know there's only a limited amount of buttons on a controller but there must be some way to fit it in, maybe hold down a button, like R3 on the ps4 controller and whatever the equivalent is for x box

I made this mod after playing with a controller as Wortox for a while. I got annoyed at some of the issues the controller has and decided to fix them by adding new controls to the controller (those being combinations of the left stick button and other buttons)

I appreciate the help but sadly I'm on console ;-;

Honestly more then anything I wish the ps4/ consoles in general had keyboard and mouse support (lord knows why it doesn't, it has 2 USB ports)
