Well-met Posted June 10, 2019 Share Posted June 10, 2019 ey my mod messes with inst.HUD.controls (heart, brain, stomach, crafttabs) and most of the time it works and yet sometimes the game won't like it and give a LUA crash that says they can't find HUD.controls. There doesn't seem to be any pattern. Now I understand it has to do with HUD widgets not being initialized fast enough during load or something like that. So what's the deal with this? where am i supposed to move HUD business at? thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CarlZalph Posted June 10, 2019 Share Posted June 10, 2019 I believe the proper way is to listen for the playeractivated event from the world in a prefab post init for world, and if it's a client mod then check to see if the data is the ThePlayer in the event listener callback.
