Mencken Posted May 24, 2019 Share Posted May 24, 2019 So I think it’s a 32 bit program. I have 32gb, if it ever goes to 64 bit maybe much larger worlds could be supported? Takes me about an hour to outline above ground world. Be fun if it took much longer, so always an element of mystery. Another option could be portal. For larger worlds the backend engine only supports 1024x1024 tiles, with 1022x1022 playable space (boundary tiles have to be impassable or the game crashes or creates no walls/water). Switching to 64bit would not increase this limitation. At most having more access to memory would allow for more entities provided RakNet can handle it.
