Question concerning chess pieces

I was playing the game for a while and in order to start the final boss i figured i need to kill shadow pieces that are made out of chess figurine sketches.
Now, i found designated locations of them marked on the map and after i smashed the statutes to get the blueprints i received only QUEENLY FIGURE SKETCH 3X instead of sketches for shadow pieces like shadow rook, shadow knight and shadow bishop.
Now, at this point i understand that i can not start a boss fight because i am missing figurine sketches that should provide me with Shadow Atrium so is this a common occurance or what?
As you can see in the picture below i should have received bishop and knight blueprints out of those statutes, but instead i received queenly figure sketches. I explored the whole map and found 2 more similar locations but i received pawn blueprint and another queenly blueprint which are useless.
Anyone got any advice?

You need to do moon clockworks first. The suspicious parts scattered all over the ground.

I have to connect those suspitious marble parts that make me super slow with their broken statues? Damn... never thought of that.
Any way to deduct where are the suspitious parts since i explored the whole map?

As far as i know there isnt a way to know where they'd spawn but ive seen people use beefalo to trasport these chess pieces much faster than by foot

Beefalo, Telelocator or just do the walk. It seems too slow but it's really not that bad.

Use roads to gain a tiny boost.

There is no way of knowing where they are as far as i know, they are randomly scattered around the map. As said above, beefs are probably the most efficient option, you don't have to fully domesticate one ofcourse, and it can carry you+chess piece with no speed penalty. They're also quite helpful in finding the pieces in the first place, as you have not marked them before with traps/backpacks i assume if you did not know u need em.

If you mine the statues during a full moon, they will spawn coresponding robots and also give you the correct blue prints. By doing this you get 6 extra gears and you can move the fight wherever you feel confortable, and to get the shadow atrium you have to hammer them during a new moon(and kill them ofc). You can ofcourse just repair them and fight right there when the new moon comes, doing the fullmoon fight too just gives you more options.
