Gus Smedstad Posted April 14, 2019 Share Posted April 14, 2019 Gas doesn’t break turbines. Rather, what happens is that the turbine refuses to use a port with anything other than steam. Which can cause your turbine to stall permanently if you have non-steam in front of all ports. I’ve had that happen, a single-port turbine and a packet of oxygen blocking steam intake. I had to take it down and pump out the chamber until it was vacuum before I could re-start. Won’t happen in this case. He’s got two ports open, so one tile of gas won’t block both ports.
