A quick question about the new language support.

I just finished a translation of the game and I want to know how it will work with the new support, because if I have to do it all over again I will start killing beefaloes.I'm not good with modding so all those other threads explaining this just get me confused.I am also using wrathof's english.lua template btw.

Bigfoot has a script file that will convert your file based on my template to a po file that you can import into the POedit program per this thread.....http://forums.kleientertainment.com/showthread.php?10819-TUTORIAL-Creating-a-translation-using-the-PO-FormatEDIT:You will start out with the game's po file (once the update is released) then import the po file Bigfoot makes for you to get all of your existing translations, then continue to translate the new strings.

I have prepared an updated version of my Alternative Fonts mod to work with the new mod support system but need the updated game to do some testing before release. I should have an update posted in a few hours after the game's update hits.EDIT:I don't get pre-release access since I don't have a twitch channel and a following :lol:

or if you prefer, use the "Go Advanced" button on a message here so you can use the "Attachments" button (next to smileys) to upload the file to the forum and attach it to the post. Use the "Insert Inline" button after going through the "Add Files" part.

Harder to write out than actually do. :D

Full instructions for how to create a translation is here:http://forums.kleientertainment.com/showthread.php?10819-TUTORIAL-Creating-a-translation-using-the-PO-FormatBasically, you need to put the po file into dont_starve/data/scripts/languages and edit languages.lua to load your po file. If you need to update the po file with the new strings, use POEdit and load strings.pot.

I get that bit, but the link with my translation is no file;It's just all the text on a website that I can't do anything with.
