That's why I suggested earlier in this thread to use a right going stepped ladder in order to correct the difference between specific heat capacities of petroleum and crude oil.

For example, if you use a stacked ladder build with an odd number of levels (meaning one level more going right than left) you get fairly close to the 4% difference in specific heat capacity depending on the length of the individual steps.

That's why I decided to use water in my testing because as soon as you use something with different SPC like crude oil and petroleum the results you get out is basically useless unless it's for that specific purpose.
