K_Lark
seems like repair should be its own kinda priority. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/102028-concern-with-repairing-damaged-wire/#findComment-1146309 Share on other sites

Yeah, it's weird that it's under "Tidy", when a broken wire/pipe/building could literally be killing your colony. Seems closer to "Life Support" to me, at least for some cases. Seems to be the reason it never gets done. I`d prefer if all the deliver tasks were under the deliver priority with delivery to compactors being the only exception but it seems people like more if delivery was under the same task the job it is tied to. Either way it needs to be cleaned up. Stressed Dupe
I honestly think there should be an "advanced priorities" where every action is listed and has a priority number for itself, so you can order your dupe to just build, repair and deliver, grouping so many actions in the way it is right now should be just the default priority grouping, like it's done with the schedules Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/102028-concern-with-repairing-damaged-wire/#findComment-1146556 Share on other sites
I_Link_I
I know that problem and noticed that it is somehow faster to build a second wire around the damage than to fix the old one. Repairing no longer deletes resources. After repair the extra resources fall to the ground. But it might be faster. Repairing bunker doors seems to take forever. Or rather, it's not 100% of the time. For instance, in my current game, I have thermium liquid shutoffs below my rockets for refueling. They still overheat, and I've repaired them twice (so far). The first time I repaired them, I got the thermium back (looking at the resource tracker on the right side of the screen), but the second time, I did not. From my expeence the repair material is always back. if it disappeared it might be a bug or it might be stuck inside the building. Try saving and loading the game to see if it`s still missing. Macadaisical
Point being though, feel like it can be optimized more appropriately or added to a less "busy" category.
