Trego Posted May 28, 2017 Share Posted May 28, 2017 It would make sense to have some other simple uses for natural gas. Gas fired Kiln. Bunsen Burner. Gas heater (more powerful than space heater and with much higher overheat temperature) It doesn't make sense that we're playing around with liquid hydrogen but we can't even boil water. Something which makes using Fertilizer Makers to produce natural gas as a usable resource a good idea. That said, some form of fire or explosion risk with Natural Gas would be a good way to offset its infinite value... and would make it much scarier if a Destructive dupe decided to bust up the gas stove, for example. Kasuha Posted May 29, 2017 Share Posted May 29, 2017 Hmmm gas powered kitchen? Might be hard to balance. Smelting furnaces might require natural gas when smelting is added to the game. But considering natural gas are in general light carbohydrates, there might be a machine that turns natural gas into plastics, e.g. nylon fiber to make advanced clothes.
