LadyAzure Posted September 1, 2017 Share Posted September 1, 2017 Well after catching 3 no eyed deer a few Winters ago I noticed something interesting. I keep them close to my base in a big pen. One, every Winter they grow back their antler but even more of a surprise to me..at the end of a new Winter 1-2 new no eyed deer are trying to get into the pen! I now have around 8 total! No hunting for them. They come right to the pen and wait for me to open the door to let them in. I was told they despawn after Winter, and also that they do not grow back antlers but for me this is not true. Has this happened to anyone else? It's like the pen is their migration destination. Whoever told you they don't grow their antlers back was probably affiliated with CNN. Additionally, the deer travel together so it would make sense for them to follow fellow deer.
