build rockit, invade other players =]

Games these days don't go as far as they could - there could be added to the game the possibility to:
1. build a rockit (reach the surface)
2. randomly invade other asteroids (like in  darksouls maybe, don't play that one), that is you don't know your asteroid position relative to the ones around you belonging to other players
3. inherently make an update about weapons, turrets, morbs'o'war? :)

Making the surface of the asteroid a part of the game would definately add a seriously cool new angle to the game.

And lots of new gaming elements. Solar arrays. Space suits. Heat dissipation panels.

I don't want multiplayer wars in this game. Coop gameplay could be fun. But no wars. No invading other peoples bases here. It would ruin the game completely.

That can be set with options like "allow invasion", "allow coop" etc.

Invasion goal: maintain an empire like for every other asteroid you invade and have a minimal base in, say a bed, toilet, energy wheel, battery and algae oxidizer or water electrolizer, get a point if you're the only one in that asteroid that is there aren't any other players buildings in there. Perhaps this isn't a requirement but just any dupes of other players, but if all the dupes of an invading force are killed then the invasion should end. Duplicators should be buildable but duplication should be singleton that is one player can only duplicate once through any number of duplicators. All existing asteroids must be player spawns, so a player can have between 0 (invaded) and many points (conquests) for leaderboards. Conquered asteroids can of course be conquered back.

This means being able to bring a certain quantity of resources in the rocket with you to set up a base because then wiping out all the matter in your asteroid would become your goal to hinder invasions :) Perhaps the rocket should be scalable with the fuel you put in it, so you can bring a very small base and lockers with resources with you, then again there should be resource wars that is invasions for the sole purpose of mining and getting back resources to your asteroid else you risk remaining w/o any for further invasions.

The rocket should be made of a special material that encloses an area which is the rocket content, plus engines, and these are the basic conditions of a workable rocket. If you enclose the entire asteroid with it, you should be able to move the entire asteroid with enough fuel and invade with your main base :)

Also rare resources and artefacts should exist so that no player holds at start more than 1-2 but get more with conquest / raiding, like equipment for dupes, rare plants for agriculture, special minerals for special weapons etc.

Imagine the fun with multiple invasions and all this would be pretty much requiring just connections between the players who would only confirm with the main server they started a game, they have conquered and gained a point, they've been invaded and lost a point...

An achievement system can be set up also for leaderboards...
