Ancient Guardian: revenge of the Minotaur [DRAWING INCLUDED]

The Dragonfly got heavily buffed for DST, making it a really good Final Boss for you and your team. But I think the Ancient Guardian deserves a big buff too, making it another, possibly even harder, final boss. 

 

here's a few suggestions for new attacks:

Thulecite horn

When the guardian reaches <50% health, its horn gets covered in thulecite. It deals more damage and makes you drop your weapon when you get hit (like the Goose/Moose special attack).

Note: when the A.G. dies while his horn is activated, he will additionally drop a few broken thulecite pieces and some thulecite 

 

The stuff of nightmares

Sometimes it will breathe out clouds of black gas. These clouds will stay in place for about 5 seconds, draining sanity really fast if you go inside them. After 5 seconds the clouds will compact into shadow clones of the guardian, which are smaller, slower, teleport when damaged, deal less damage and only have 200 hp. Killing them restores 20 sanity.

indeed! the shadow clones attack, for example, should be based on how many players are near it, with a ratio of 1 shadow x player starting at 2 players (so with only 1 player the Guardian won't spawn shadows it will actually spawn them but only very rarely, with 2 players it will spawn 1, with 3 players it will spawn 2, and etc)
