Player will be stuck after using Bootleg Getaway

Yep, still to this day (update 278) I'm having this issue. And to be honest, I don't think this is a new bug? 

Since the introduction of boats and sails, when a boat reaches a certain speed, the character's action will be stuck, pushed, or moved in a different direction!

It also happens to me.

i think it has something related to the collision. If you have a structure near when you’re entering the whirpool u get stuck
