No Ability to Fish at Oasis with Varg Pet

I cannot fish at the oasis lake because my Varg pet. I go fish and when I am prompted to hit X, instead of realign in my catch I automatically rub my puppies belly, since they are the same commands. I cannot tell me pet to wait in a given place so it consistantly follows me too close. Even at night when the pet 8s sleeping I can't real in a catch because peeing my Varg always takes presence.  I do not know if this was intended but it's preventing me from the valuable resource. 

Steps to Reproduce
Have pet (varg) fish at oasis lake.
Go to bugs

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

I assume this is fixed in an upcoming release, since it's definitely not fixed in the current version. Fishing at the oasis is much harder than it needs to be with your pet having priority over reeling your line in. The bounding box for the oasis already is weird giving priority to pick succulent/open Chester even standing adjacent to oasis with fishing rod in hand
