Sorry, a couple of turf problems slipped into the update unnoticed. It's already fixed and we'll get another update out ASAP

Has Charles B already fixed this bug in this new July 28th update?

They did fix it, but the old lunar turf still exists and you can not remove it! Not that a big of deal to be honest, they hotfix the farming soil which was more important. However, I'm sure it will get fixed later on.

I don't think so.. It will get fixed in the upcoming updates. The 276 was a quick update to address the issues with the framing part, and you can now make a new rug without any problems.

They couldn't / have time maybe, to do the remaining lunar turfs, that's what I think.

I hope they remove the Lunar Surface as soon as possible... I'm new to the game and this makes my experience difficult
