Emoticons sending as '?'

Today I was in-game and I tried to do :wave: and greet the people on the server and instead my emoticon just showed up as a question mark.
I was going to test which emoticons do this but I don't have them all. Don't know if this problem is on PC.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Enter a server.
2. Send an emoticon (Some work, try :wave:)

Go to bugs

Just to be clear, do you mean the emotes you use with the emote wheel on the right stick (R3)? Or typed into the text input field when you use "Say"?
