Plug Slugs not entering Generator Mode to Sleep

Red Shark
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: Windows Fixed

Update: Not a Bug (Probably)

I have a room with two wild plug slugs (hereafter: splugs) in a room set up to harvest their nightly energy. Consistently, only one of the splugs crawls to the ceiling and enters "generator mode". The other freezes, sleeping where it is (either on ground or floor), without generating power. While in this state, the "Sleeping" buff blinks rapidly, as if it's constantly falling off and being reapplied.

Seems to persist through save / load cycles, too.

Edit: Appears to be working as intended - Splugs require space to dropdown, and won't overlap buildings. Not sure if this ought to be made obvious by a debuff ("This critter is exhausted, but wasn't able to find space to hang out").

Steps to Reproduce

Unknown. Save File attached.

User Feedback

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

Brief testing reveals that to be the case exactly. This is different than the behavior previously (where Splugs could stack on top of one another), so this appears to be working as intended. Thanks for the catch!

(Specifically, they stack if they don't have wire to connect to)

Changed Status to Known Issue

While this is not a bug I agree the problemĀ could be messaged better (or... at all).
