Storage make the game very slow

Do you just tell them to put everything in there and move along?

Or do you separate them, one for every compactor? For example: 1 storage for iron, another for gold?

Had the same problems with mixed storage. Just put everything looking like metal in there, will cause lag. Separating them runs smooth. 

Thats a known issue, as i recall.

in my experience it lags more if you just let the resources stay on the floor.
