Random outbreak of slimelung

In my entire game I've gone to the slime biome once & I made sure I didn't take any slimelung with me, yet at the other side of my base, where I hadn't built anything yet, slimelung has appeared for some reason. I'm not sure if it's something I did after all or an actual bug but I thought I'd mention it anyways.

Steps to Reproduce
I went to the slime biome once to get myself some thimblereed fibers (of which i made sure weren't infected with slimelung), some 10 cycles later slimelung appeared at the other side of my base in the air. Might not be related to each other, in that case random slimelung appeared inside my base.

Perhaps some (small) amount of polluted oxygen with slimelung got into your base. Slimelung multiplies in PO.

Also, slimelung can spread to tiles. I'm not sure if it will spread from tiles to gas, but perhaps that's the case as well.

While minor infections with slimelung won't hurt, it is important to find the source and block the further spreading.

Is it supposed to spread to tiles? I thought being on a solid killed it, why would it infect the tiles next to it?

Video of spreading to tiles attached. It's basically all my dupes have been doing lately...  guess I need to block off that area and mine it out from the other side to stop it.
