Plants dont fully grow unless you're looking at them

i have observed that too, i have actually had entire colony die while i was afk due to this problem.

Same, have to move back my camera on my farm area every now and then.

I have the same or a simillar issue. Sometimes mealworm plants will not bloom even though they are fully mature which prevents dupes from harvesting them and starving to death unless I manually fix the issue.

 

I need to move my mouse over the plants for them to bloom. Quickly toggling the farming overlay (F10) on & off also achieves the same effect.

This is very annoying. After finding this out yesterday i did some testing and my colony died after 7 days of afk due to starvation on two different occasions. Before that my food had self-managed for hundreds of cycles, only increasing plant count as more dupes was added.

When I scrolled the view to my plants, you could actually see them going from 99% to 100% mature after 0.5s.
