Plant in disabled planter box keeps consuming solid fertilizer after reloading save

When disabling planter box, fertilizers is not being consumed (no problem here). However, when save is relaunched plant keeps using fertilizer as if it was growing (even though it's not).

  4. Load saved game
  5. Mealwood consumes dirt while growth has been disabled by player

I expect this happens when plant is stiffled at the moment of loading save. When plant growth is halted during gameplay (e.g. gas bubble keeps floating around) plant stops consuming nutrients correctly (from what I observed).

Stifled plants due to air pressure or wrong atmosphere, yes. Stifled plants due to temperature they used to eat their fertilizer. Plants that need only liquids now won't consume it if stifled but plant that need solids will do that after reload. An easy way to check is stifle some mealwood due to temperature (spawn some hot igneous beneath it until it reaches 30 C), observe the fertilizer stop being consumed, save, reload, check mealwood farm tile again and dirt in it going down
