Report reply thewreckedangle 480 Posted June 24, 2018 iirc each pacu will eat 140(?) per day. the feeder only holds 200, so they will empty it almost instantly. if you have many pacu it will seem like they are endlessly eating as it takes so long for each of them to get "enough" food. (maybe? not 100% sure as i do not feed pacu anymore as it is just ridiculous) Share this comment
Report reply ArunPrasath 169 Posted July 3, 2018 Ooh ... didn't realize that! Then this topic should be "Increase storage of pacu feeder to 2000 kg" and "decrease pacu fish's consumption to 20-40kg/cycle" Share this comment
Report reply FinalDoom 5 Posted October 14, 2019 Old topic, but I think this is still an issue. I had a wild pacu eat continuously, 10g at a time, from a 200g full feeder (that was constantly refilled), and it didn't stop at 140g or anywhere. It only stopped when there was no more algae.
