NOT Logic Gate Behavior wrong with Bundled Cable

test447
  • Branch: Preview Branch Version: Windows Fixed

All of the logic gates work with the bundled wiring (with a bunch of graphical glitches but functionally correct) except for the NOT gate. The NOT gate simply will always just take the NOT of a single wire in the bundled cable rather than performing a bitwise not.

I would think that either the NOT gate needs to have this corrected and the graphical glitches with the lantern colors on the gates should be done.

Or their should be signal overload damage for the basic gates when using bundled cables.

Steps to Reproduce
Build NOT gate. Input bundled wire. Look at output bundled wire.

User Feedback

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

Yeah it just checks the first bit and sets the output wire equal to the inverse of it. If the change it to the bitwise operator that would fix it.

But the normal logic gates don't really have the proper UI to work with the ribbon cables. Since they only have single automation ports rather than ribbon ports. I think the normal gates should either receive signal overload damage, or have their in-game tooltips/UI better indicate that they can be used with either type of wire.
