Hello,

Update 289453 introduced a second planet on the starmap within the 10,000km range. This planet is essential to gather enough interstellar research points to unlock better ways of powering rockets to further planets. However, this planet will not show up on the starmap on existing save games. It will do so on new games. Others have confirmed this issue as well.

A save game file having this issue can be found here:

Steps to Reproduce
Load up a save game started before update 289453

It would take 20 trips to get a full basic interstellar research done. While it will allow you to move forward, this is only in the worst case scenario where you somehow lost out on possibilities getting the databanks the normal, more plentiful way. It's not a solution to an early planet not showing up and therefore tossing away 250 research points.
