This has happened since I started to play ONI month ago. I don't know exactly what steps it takes to reproduce this, but usually this happens mid-late game. Reloading can fix this, but it will happen again soon after. The most dupes that I've seen running that thing is 5. In picture, the left generator is run by 1, but the right one is run by 3 dupes.
I don't know if power generated is counted as 4 generator's or 2's in this case, but when all my dupes went to run that thing, basically no one takes care of the rest of the base. Reloading can fix this, but it takes a while to load each save file, which is quite painful.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
