Glum critters not being gromed, fixed after reload

Ranchers stop grooming glum critters after playing for about 30-60 minutes. Seems to happen one critter at a time, not all at once.

Errands tab on the grooming station says 'No Critters available'.

Critters are groomed again after restarting the game.

Hi Devs,

Same issue here. Reloading is the only solution at the moment. I play hardest difficulty only and not able to ranch is critical for me.

Setup Explanation:

  • I use doors and automation to force newly joined Pip downward. Essentially the idea is when Pip is on the side of a vertical door, open the door will make the Pip drop. I made the stable this way only because I want better looking Arbor tree setup.
  • Liquid on the bottom and at sides are used to restrict Pip navigation and force them remain on the dirt all time. Reduce grooming time.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Build the stable as what I did.
  2. Put an Pip egg in a incubator.
  3. Wait until the egg is hatched then put the Pipsqueak into the stable.
  4. Wait the Pipsqueak grow to adult.
    1. The Pipsqueak won't jump so have to wait till adult then it can reach the door mechanism to push it down.
    2. At the moment when the Pipsqueak mature, it should be already hungry and glum.
  5. This Pip will keep glum and the grooming station will keep "No Critters Available" until reload.

Can we get this looked at.
It sems that rebuilding of grooming station helped few times but it stopped in my current save so atm my poor hatches are very gloom.

Edit:
Original ticket states that reload helps. I didn't notice that will take a closer look if it works for a while after reload and then stops again.
