After detecting germs the pipe germ sensor don't deactivate. I even put my germ sensor below 1 germ and nothing. It even don't recognize the germ in the pipe.

User Feedback

I do not believe this is a bug. All 4 sensors (liquid germ, liquid thermo, gaseous germ, and gaseous thermo) latch the status of the last packet to pass through them. In other words, empty pipes do affect the output. This prevents sensors from toggling back and forth just because there are empty packets in the pipe.

If you want, I’d suggest posting in the Suggestion forum; it wouldn’t be unreasonable to change the sensors behavior, or at least clarify the operation.

Mine works fine

only difference I can see is my sensor is set to "above 0 germs"

It turns off every time there is no germy packets in the pipe

I put the save game, you can test it if you want. If is intended behavior is better to know. If you put an element sensor it goes active only if that element is detected, why not the same whit germs sensor? Logic is the germs sensor is active only if detect germs. Why stay active after?

I haven't checked you save file yet but I might have a guess

My build also has PW supplied from showers which doesn't have germs.  It's possible you need both infected and sterile PW to trigger the sensor so it knows the difference
