Game crashes, when entering seed that is too long

Whenever i try to enter a seed, that is too long for world generation in the Field, where the full seed is displayed (see image), the game client crashes and disables all mods.

Steps to Reproduce
New Game -> enter Seed that is longer then allowed -> Start Game
Go to bugs

Also I think it has something to do with the fact with how seeds are generated now, I don't think you can just throw in a bunch of random numbers anymore and get a viable seed. I'm not 100% sure about that though.
