Flox's confining themselves in floor

  • Branch: Live Branch Version: Windows Pending

not sure if this one has been pointed out yet, but

got a flox ranch going, and despite there being no way for my critters to become confined (stable ceiling, no nearby construction) my floxes appear to get stuck, and when hovering over them, they are confined, and shifted just a couple of pixels into the floor (but not enough to outright notice they are stuck in the floor), requiring manual input to wrangle, and relocate them into the exact same ranch, if i even notice that they are bugged, this hasn't been happening with my pips so i assume this is flox exclusive, but it happens at an alarming rate, requiring a lot of manual input and dupe labor that frequently interrupts gameplay in order to keep resources going, i got a bunch of mods, but i have them disabled for the new content

attached: 2 floxes confined next to each other waiting to be rescued from their broken ai (so cute, but oh so stupid)

I may have observed the same thing with a Bammoth and now a Spigot Seal. The Bammoth was confined in a natural tile to the right. The Seal seems to be doing the thing you observed. In both cases it may be due to a reload or not.

time to move the floxes to the ranch, so a cycle ago i selected a flox by the x in the image with a "move to" command to the ranch. The "move to" icon went red so i went to check what had gone wrong... i assume the flox was dropped due to the co2 and now it's embeded in the natural iron tile in the ethanol pool. No load done between the move and the flox getting entombed.
