Egg cracker spawning dozens of critters

Every once in a while I will get a dozen or more baby hatches suddenly appear in my cooking area. I couldn't figure out what was happening. What I think might be happening is that all the eggs that I am cracking are not actually being destroyed. After their incubation time, these hidden eggs hatch. As time goes on, more and more hidden eggs build up.

Steps to Reproduce
Have an egg cracker cracking eggs for an extended period of time. Possibly related to continuous egg cracking.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

I was coming here to report basically this.  Mine didn't hatch but I didn't wait long enough for them to.  After cracking the egg, they stay in the Contents of the egg cracker.  It can be emptied and the eggs are perfectly viable for hatching or for putting back into the egg cracker.
