I notice Camille stand nearby duplicant checkpoint with task "store materials" (most probably she try to take copper nearby aquatuner). Also I can make order to move into "blocked" area, it is allowed, but duplicants stuck nearby entrance. As you see on picture, path shown with "white" line, but Camille don't move.

User Feedback

a checkpoint is not a closed door completely blocking the way.
that's how it works - it makes duplicants stand and wait at the red signal and allows them to pass at the green signal.
and don't ask me why it's necessary.

Agreed, this is not a bug and is behaving as intended.

I once made a compact hot material filter using a checkpoint. Duplicants would come and stand at checkpoint with hot material, then I would close them in and open the floor with automated door. The duplicant would drop the hot material that went for processing and then the duplicant was released.

I could see this being used with radbolts to keep duplicants out of their path without breaking pathfinding through the checkpoint like a locked door would.

It could also be used to make a nice airlock, ensuring the airlock was a true vacuum before letting duplicants through.

Not a lot of easy everyday uses, but it is handy.

Yes, it was the bug I'm complaining. It is definitely not desired behavior.
