Contaminated Oxygen out of nowhere

I started a new game and around Day 7 I think the oxygen around my base got more an more contaminated. Especially to the corner left of my base where my dupes slept.

I have no idea where it came from as I hadn't even gotten a compost yet. There was no slime there, or anything that could have produced it to such an extent.

This rushed my to make air filters and get it under control and I think it ****** up everything for my base.

Steps to Reproduce
No idea. All I had done was dig around the area.

Are you certain nobody was farting in their sleep?
Outhouses and compost are also sources of contaminated oxygen.
