Can't removed newly planted mealwood

When planting a new mealwood plant you cannot remove the planter. but you can removed all blocks around it.

Steps to Reproduce
-Make a planter box -plant a mealwood -remove block under the planter (even without this step you cannot remove the planter)

You can remove them, you just have to select them individually and click the 'deconstruct' button in the popup window. But yeah, the deconstruct tool itself does not work on them for some reason.
