Despawning in Celestial Portal in Caves spawns you on surface

It's as the title says, despawning using the Celestial Portal in the caves spawns you on surface. The portal - to both my knowledge and experience - has almost always been in the caves. Ignore the fact that the portal was located in the ruins. It was a completely random event that it was there, but pretty cool nonetheless. Here's a video as well.

 

Steps to Reproduce
1)Find the multiplayer portal in the caves. 2) Turn it into the celestial portal. 3) Give it the thing to despawn yourself. 4) Spawn on the surface :(.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

The celestial orb cannot be brought into the caves. Instead, what you make are both the Portal Paraphernalia and Moon Rock Idol on the surface, bring it with you into the caves, and then upgrade the portal.
