Can't access Shop

The shop tab won't open in DST. Instead, I get a message: "Please enable the Steam Overlay to purchase clothing sets". I've checked, and Steam Overlay is enabled in-game in both my Steam client and in DST. I've already restarted Steam, restarted DST, restarted my computer, and verified my game files with no problems, but the shop remains inaccessible. This has never happened before- maybe it's a problem related to the new update?

Steps to Reproduce
All I did was click the shop tab. The description speaks for itself.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

Can you try turning off the Steam overlay. Launching the game, and then quitting. Then turning the overlay back on and launching the game again?

Hi, I also have the same problem. I did the same steps as OP, and I also tried to turn the overlay off and turn it back on again, but the overlay still does not appear for Don't Starve Together. The overlay does work for other games (including Don't starve), though.

Are you by any chance on OSX? If so, I will be looking into this, as I have confirmed it indeed doesn't work there currently.

Oh! I am on macOS Mojave 10.14.6. I'll update the OS and let you know if anything changes

Edit: I upgraded the OS but the overlay does not enable for DST.

hey i know this is about two years later so i guess no one will see this but i have the same problem... what should i do to fix this? i have a mac if there is some kind of problem with macs in general.
